Meaning "One Moon," UNA LUNA is a brand that captures mystery, grace, and the appeal of independence. The branding and packaging of this luxury line of natural Italian chocolate were meant to inspire the enchanted beauty of a moonlit night.

challenge

Making packaging that would reflect the premium quality and mystique of the brand at the same time while visually harmonizing and captivating the collection presented the main difficulty. It has to be unique on shelves and tell the tale of UNA LUNA's relationship to freedom and environment.

solution

The SOT BD created a design combining premium aesthetics with intellectual narrative. While good printing techniques like gold foil embossing and selected varnish stress quality, the picture of the golden moon and flying birds brings the mystery and freedom of night to life.

Offering not only chocolate but also a carefully chosen experience, UNA LUNA's packaging design transforms every product into a gift-worthy masterpiece appealing to both regular enjoyment and celebratory events.

Tenerezza, Richezza, Hazelnuts & Almonds, Prunes with nuts in chocolate are among the various unique tastes that the UNA LUNA chocolate collection offers. The cosmic design unifies every box in the collection, although each variety has individual individuality highlighted by different flavor palettes and images.

Combining fine details with a conceptual illustration, the box is a real visual feast.

is The scene is established with a calm riverbank under a starry night sky. Surrounded by glittering stars, the golden moon takes front stage as birds fly, so capturing the ideas of freedom and mystery. The subtle forms of the terrain highlight the natural and opulent character of the chocolate.

The concept of illustration

To improve the feel and visual attractiveness, the design uses selected varnish and gold foil embossing. These elements accentuate the moon and birds, therefore producing an interaction of textures that accentuates the uniqueness of the brand.

Material and finishing:

The main hue is deep black, which stands for the darkness; accents of gold bring complexity and richness. This contrast guarantees the box seems elegant and classic.
